Trai guidelines for sms based services
As per TRAI guidelines, SMS’s must be sent according to the following alphanumeric format: XY-SenderName, where X refers to the service provider and Y refers to the service area.
If you receive an SMS from AD-MEDIANAMA, that means that the SMS has been sent by MEDIANAMA, originating on Airtel’s network, from the Delhi service area. The codes mandated by TRAI are as follows:

If I subscribe any of the service(by mistake), then how to STOP that service. I am a MTNL, Mumbai TRUMP user and want to STOP 54646 – Hungama / Virtual Marketing service, Where and what SMS I send?
Hi shashi, first get register your number with Do not disturb list. find below the sites to do so

Then wait for some days, even if you are getting unwanted msgs then contact hungama.org to remove your number from their database.
